I woke up feeling very anxious this morning. Perhaps it’s the eclipse energy, mercury retrograde reeking havoc on my technological life or the fact that I am ending my five weeks in Mexico and heading back to New York tomorrow. Either way I bounced out of bed at 7am this morning and once I figured out how to reactive my email inbox :/ I jumped into a few more tasks on my to do list that were weighing heavy on me. I don’t quite have the traveling/digital nomad thing down yet. With no routine, a new place every few days and unpredictable wifi, I have felt behind in so many ways. And now…drum roll please, a new moon eclipse in Aries.
Eclipses are powerful portals that create big change and new beginnings. If you are anything like me, often our control mechanisms kick into high gear when change is in the air. What I continue to learn in times of change is to let go, to surrender and TRUST what life is showing me. But our stubborn egos LOVE a sense of control. This push and pull can be very anxiety inducing. I am smack dab in the middle of this dance right now. Eclipses can bring extra sensitivity and irritability as well. Sheesh!
My advice? Slow down. Breathe deep. Observe what is going on within you without attaching to it. Some of us might need movement to shake up this energy, some may need more stillness and rest. Perhaps nature is your go to or a hot shower to clear a chaotic energy field. Either way, observe first and act second. Slow down enough to know what you need and then take loving action.
Some mantras I am working with today:
It is safe to change
I am open to what is next
I trust life
I show up for myself no matter what
I love and accept all parts of myself
We got this, everyone! Nature is the boss. Don’t fight these energies. Don’t force anything today. Heed to the present moment and remember that growth can be painful but it is necessary to evolve our consciousness and see more clearly the path that is ours.
In the spirit of change and new experiences, I wanted to offer a discount code to my final Ladyvana Women’s Retreat of the year happening in November in Panama. I have NEVER done this before but I feel so much support through this Substack and wanted to offer my subscribers something special. I started this Substack after leaving Open and it was a way to share deep truths, my process and my offerings. This feels like a safe space to talk to you an hopefully inspire you to walk life as bravely as you can. I feel so freaking grateful that you are here and reading my work. So if you feel the call…
Use code LVPANAMA for $200 off using this link.
I know November is a long ways away but these spots historically go really fast. If you have any questions let me know.
To change, to growth, to moving on through to the other side,
Ally
Hi Ally! Just wanted to say a quick hello, because I love your work. I found you randomly through your YouTube yoga videos in 2020, and then started following you on social. I’ve taken some of your zoom workshops, still practice to your yoga videos, and I just started listening to your podcast. I love it all! And this Substack actually encouraged me to start my own. So thank you thank you thank you, you inspire me, keep doing what you’re doing, I appreciate you.
